Few weeks ago the now embattled founder of Synagogue Church Of All Nations, T.B Joshua prophesied that Pope Francis may be in grave danger as Islamic State militants (ISIS) are planning to kidnap him.

Now, days before the Pontiff’s visit to the Muslim nation of Albania, a top diplomat has warned that ISIS has made 'credible threats' to kill Pope Francis.

Daily Mail reports that the Iraqi diplomat, Habeeb Al Sadr, issued the warning yesterday after Vatican officials insisted there was no threat to his safety - and said he will not ride in the bulletproof 'Popemobile' of his predecessor Benedict XVI.

Al Sadr, Iraq's ambassador to the Holy See, admitted he knew of no 'specific facts' or 'operational projects' but said:

The ambassador claimed the pope is at risk due to the spread of extremists around the world.

He told the Italian newspaper La Nazione:
