Deciding to fast from Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Snapchat during the Holy season can be very difficult.

This is because of addictive these things can be. In fact, studies have shown that social media is as addictive as chocolate and cigarettes.

Meanwhile, another study discovered that most people check our mobiles around 85 times every single. This research was carried out at Nottingham Trent University.

This just goes to show how difficult this fast could be and why you need some help.

Log out of these social media apps.

If this does not do it for you, then just uninstall those apps. This way, you stop getting constant updates and notifications making it less likely for you to be tempted to check them.

Learn to take breaks from your phone. Keep it away while working until you really need it to answer a call, make one and do the basic things like text.

Pick up a good habit like praying, reading the Bible, e.t.c. Whenever you drop one thing, it is always better to replace it with something else.
