Church exemplifies prudent use of water

This religious organisation known world over for its signature lush green grasses, had to set an example by conserving water, instead of using it to water their lawns.

The church in California has come out to educate people in their locality on easy ways of conserving water.

One notable religious organisation, is the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in California.

According to Reuters, the drought in California is entering its fourth year.

In an interview with newsmen, Brian Sheffield, the temple’s general manager, said “Since we had such a large lawn, we thought that we want to set an example. Not only for ourselves, but also for the community.”
