Season 2 of series to premiere this month!

Since the series debuted over a year ago, it has been tagged as the African version of “Sex and the City”.

An African City to premiere this month

A brand new season of “An African City” will be released on Sunday, January 24, 2016.

The web series created and written by Nicole Amarteifio follows the lives of five modern Ghanaian and Nigerian women who return home after living abroad for years. The producers of the show wrapped up filming season two in September 2015.

The series features actress like MaameYaa Boafo (Nana Yaa), Esosa E (Ngozi), Nana Mensah (Sade), Marie Humbert  (Makena) and Maame Adjei (Zainab). It also stars Ghanaian actor Mawuli Gavor, Angolan actor Hoji Fortuna and Nigerian actor Jason Nwoga. Chris Attoh is said to also be appearing in the new season.

Since the series debuted over a year ago, it has been tagged as the African version of “Sex and the City”.

The new season of “An African City” will also be airing on EbonyLife TV (DSTV – Channel 165 on Monday, February 1.
