At last, Langbasa Kingdom gets new king [Photos]
The Langbasa Kingdom, one of the enduring communities in the Eti-Osa Local Government Area of Lagos State now has an authentic king.

Oba Badiru’s coronation which was heralded with a lot of fanfare and pageantry rounded up with an elaborate ceremony in the Langbasa community on Saturday, November 11, 2017.
According to palace sources, the new Oba has been involved in politics at the grassroots level and was elected Councilor in 1999 to represent Ward K-4 under the Eti-Osa LGA and since then, has been a mobilizer, helping to bring good governance to his people.
In January 2015, the then governor of the state, Babatunde Raji Fashola, appointed him as the Executive Secretary to Eti-Osa East LCDA, a position he held until June 9, 2016.
The coronation ceremony was graced by dignitaries from all walks of life including top government officials, politicians, religious leaders and entertainers including Fuji Music maestro, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, popularly called KWAM 1.
