Nigeria has already hosted major foreign faces like Jay Z, Beyonce, Shakira, Usher, Idris Elba, Trey Songz, Rick Ross and many others but here are six Hollywood stars we won't mind hosting this year.
Nigeria has become the hub of entertainment in Africa and it's no doubt that many international stars find it interesting to pay a visit - for work or pleasure - once in a year. The country as already hosted major foreign faces like Jay Z, Beyonce, Shakira, Usher, Idris Elba, Trey Songz, Rick Ross, Eve, Akon, Tim Westwood, Big Sean, Kim Kardashian, Amber Rose and many others but here are six Hollywood stars we won't mind hosting this year.
1.) Lupita Nyong'O is by far the biggest movie export from Africa and it will be great to have her for a fashion week in Lagos or a movie production at home. The Kenyan born star has gone on to win an Oscar award for her role in '12 Years A Slave' and scored a role in the critically acclaimed movie - 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens."
2.) Jennifer Lopez is the 'ultimate bae'. Sexy, talented and very famous. She acts like a pro and can perform like she was born to do it. The Latina singer has won Grammy awards and has been named the highest paid actress in Hollywood thanks to her role in 'Maid In Manhattan". Having her on stage in Lagos will be dope!
3.) Drake has the hotline which every event manager in Nigeria should be dailing this year. His songs falways fly to the top of the charts and rock every top 5 music list in Nigeria. Given the fact that he's now gotten himself a charged up body built, ladies won't mind the Canadian-born star around... and an M.I, Ice Prince Zamani wil be happy to join him in the studio.
4.) Rihanna remains one of Nigeria's most followed Hollywood artist. She is not just a singer but she can hold down a performance so good, fans won't regret buying her expensive tickets! A collaboration between her and our stars won't be such a bad idea. Do we need to emphasize on her beauty too?
5.) Nicki Minaj has got the 'Anaconda' that everyone wants to see and/or feel. Her controversial lyrics and lifestyle has everyone interested to see what she can offer for a typical Nigerian crown. Atleast, we can sing along and awhy not... twerk along too!?
6.) Any friend of Beckham is a friend of Nigeria. What a year Kevin Hart has had! The actor and comedian has raked in more movies and money than anyone in Naija. Why not come share those with us? He's very funny, stylish and incredibly friendly. Getting us all to put laughter on our faces will be fantastic for not just the fans but to our comedians as well.
