Multiple bomb blasts reported in different cities

There are reports of bomb blasts in different areas and provinces in the state of Syria, which is been disturbed by the Islamic State.

Cluster bombs kill more than 400 people, over a third of them children

The Syrian state media on Monday, September 5, 2016, reported blasts in the coastal city of Tartus, the central city of Homs, the suburbs of the capital Damascus, and the northeastern city of Hassakeh.

The report also revealed that Casualty reports were still coming in.

Homs province's governor confirmed the blast in his province saying a car bomb struck a military checkpoint in the provincial capital.

The governor also revealed that two soldiers were killed while four others were injured and one person in a very critical condition.

The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitoring group also reports a blast in the northeastern city of Qamishli as well.

On Sunday, there were reports that the Syria ceasefire deal with Russia is closed but President Barack Obama says its not there yet.
