StarTimes to partner with iRokotv to roll out Nollywood channels

Sources say the two new channels have been put together to meet different categories of StarTimes subscribers.

In a spectacular move, to consolidate its efforts, StarTimes in entering into a partnership with iRokotv to launch and air two new channels iROKO Play and iROKO Plus.

Sources say the two new channels have been put together to meet different categories of StarTimes subscribers. iROKO Play will be available on the StarTimes Basic bouquet which cost N1,000, while  iROKO Plus will be available for the Unique bouquet subscribers, with a monthly service charge of N3, 000.

iRokotv CEO- Jason Njoku expressed his satisfaction with the partnership, and  said:  “Launching IROKO Play and IROKO Plus on StarTimes is an exciting milestone for us.  StarTimes is focused on bringing the best entertainment to as many people as possible at an affordable price, which is why this new landmark partnership is so befitting.”
