Hackers rip Microsoft

The disturbing twist now, is that an Italian group of hackers-OrangeSec have access to the backend.

Android Cortana

Cortana an intelligent personal assistant created as an answer to ‘Google Now’ and ‘Apple Siri’ is owned by Microsoft.

It is expected to be available in the PC and other devices with the release of Windows 10 by end of this year.

The disturbing twist now, is that an Italian group of hackers-OrangeSec, has cracked the back end of Microsoft’s Cortana and replicated it as an Android version.

The hackers have called their version of Cortana, Portana Android assistant.

See Microsoft’s official statement below:

“Cortana was first available for our Windows Phone customers in Spring of 2014, and we announced on January 21 that Cortana will come to PC and tablets later this year with the release of Windows 10. We believe the best way to enjoy the full Cortana experience is as designed by Microsoft and available through Windows Phone and the Windows 10 technical preview.”
