Tech company to hold hotels summit in Abuja

SlimTrader, a technology enabler for hospitality businesses, has announced that it would be holding its second Hotels’ summit in Abuja this August.

Coming on the heels of the successful inaugural edition that held in Lagos earlier this year, the event is intended to empower hotel administrators to run more successful businesses.

The Abuja summit themed ‘Positioning Your Hotel for More Sales’ is slated to hold on the 31st of August, 2016 at Hotel de Bently, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala road, Abuja.

The summit is expected to play a crucial role in bringing hoteliers together with a view to sharing industry best-practices and recent technological developments that can have a substantial positive impact on their businesses.

The SlimTrader Abuja Hotels summit will bring together hospitality industry experts as well as representatives from leading local and international online travel agencies (OTA’s) to discuss key strategies that hotel administrators can employ to drive more visibility for their hotels and sell more room nights while moving their hotel businesses towards improved operational efficiency and growth.

Confirmed speakers at the upcoming event include Michael Ferrari, Market Manager, Expedia Lodging Partner Services; Anders Johansson, Area Manager East & West Africa, Booking.com; Ibrahim Aminu, Head, Consumer Channels & Services, Interswitch; Magaji Buba, GM Commercial, SlimTrader; Mr. Seun Ojo, Vice President, Operations at Hotelnownow.com.

The speakers would deliver presentations and join panel discussions on topics ranging from 'how to improve your hotel's visibility’ to ‘implementing the right strategies for hotel growth' and so much more.

He disclosed that the summit is holding in Lagos, Port Harcourt and Abuja ensure that important messages reach hotels across the country. He assured that each edition would feature an insightful lineup of presentations and panel discussions.
