How to find your phone using Google search

It's as simple as opening your Google search page in your browser and typing "Find my phone" to get a top result of a map that will locate your phone.

Previously, you could find your Android phone using the Android Device Manger, but know you can also find your phone via the regular Google Search.

It's as simple as opening your Google search page in your browser and typing "Find my phone" to get a top result of a map that will locate your phone.

You can also use the drop-down menu on the top right corner of the screen to switch devices. You can also hit the "Ring" button to ring the device.

Follow these steps to try it out:

  • Turn on Location Services by going to Settings>Location on your phone.
  • Make sure you are signed in to your phone with your Google account.
  •  Once that is done, and you're sure your phone is linked to your Google account, you can go ahead and type 'Find my phone' in the search bar.

It's as simple as that. Now you can find your phone by simply going on the regular Google search engine and track your phone. Note though that you may be required to sign in again on the Google page for security reasons.

Have fun!
