Corps members to undergo deployment online

Director General of the NYSC, Brigadier-General Johnson Olawunmi, said the directive should take effect with the mobilization of the 2015 Batch ‘B’.

According to several online reports, the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has given prospective members the option to choose where they will be deployed for national service via its online platform.

Director General of the NYSC, Brigadier-General Johnson Olawunmi, said the directive should take effect with the mobilization of the 2015 Batch ‘B’.

People that want concession on marital or health grounds are also included in the directive.

The NYSC DG also said the staff of the institution have been advised not to bring names forward for deployment, but instead advice prospective corps members to make their choices via the online platform.

In conclusion, Johnson said corps member can still apply for redeployment three months after orientation camp, if they have genuine reasons for their redeployment plea.
