Streaming company announces new Voltron reboot

Yep, you read that right, Voltron is coming back! The company announced last week that it is partnering with Dreamworks Animation to bring back the show.

Children of the 80s, Netflix, in addition to giving us the option of awesome chill with the girls, is bringing back one of our favorite cartoons: Voltron.

Yep, you read that right, Voltron is coming back! The company announced last week that  it is partnering with Dreamworks Animation to bring back the show.

Making the announcement at Wondercon 2016, Netflix confirmed, via a teaser trailer and some artwork, that everything still looks familiar and the show will be retaining its core characters.

The first 13 episodes are due to arrive June 10, 2016 and executive producer Joaquim Dos Santos says it will be a mix of "epic adventure" and "the campy nature of five lions that become a giant robot."

Tyler Labine, Josh Keaton, Jeremy Shada, Bex Taylor-Klaus, Kimberly Brooks, Rhys Darby and The Walking Dead star Steven Yeun are all part of the cast.
