Nigeria's richest woman will feature on latest episode of Forbes Africa show

Folorunso Alakija will be the focus of the newest episode of Forbes Africa's My Worst Day With Peace Hyde show premiering on October 6, 2016.

The TV show is returning with a new episode and in the hot seat for the month of October will be the first female yet to be featured on the series, CEO of Famfa Oil, Mrs. Folorunso Alakija.

From starting her career as a company secretary, to launching a powerhouse fashion label, to cementing her place as a force to be reckoned with in the traditionally patriarchal oil industry, Mrs. Alakija is no stranger to tough times.

She has grown her brand and business to become one of Africa's richest women - the second richest on the continent - with an estimated net worth of $1.82 Billion.
