Facebook CEO is back in Nigeria, meets with Buhari, Osinbajo

At this point, trying to guess how Zuckerberg will move or where he'll go to next is increasingly looking like a pointless effort.

The loss of Facebook when its shares tumbled on Wednesday, July 25, has been calculated to be close to Nigeria's budget for 2017.

Oh, yes - you read that correctly. Mark Zuckerberg is back in Nigeria, barely two days after he left for Kenya as his trip to Africa continues to prove quite interesting.

Talk within the digital tech media are suggesting that the Facebook CEO and Founder is currently in Abuja where he has had a meeting with President Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo today.

A source that spoke to me on the condition of anonymity said Zuckerberg is most likely going to be a part of the Aso Villa Demo Day finale which is happening in Abuja today.

There is also  a tweet from the Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to the Vice President, Laolu Akande, saying, "How often does Zuckerberg wear a suit? Well he is today, in Aso Rock where he has just ended a meeting with President Buhari & VP Osinbajo."

At this point, trying to guess how Zuckerberg will move or where he'll go to next is increasingly looking like a pointless effort. Guess that's the power of $59 billion.

There is no word on how long he will be in Nigeria - this is the second time within one week - but Pulse Tech will keep you updated on developments as they unfold.
