Nexus 5 to be released September 29

If you have never heard anything about this, two Nexus handsets are expected this year - the one from LG is said to carry a 5.2" screen, while that from Huawei is expected to be a 5.7" phablet.

According to a South Korean media outlet which cited a credible source, the LG Nexus 5 (2015) - alleged live photo  of which made the rounds all over the Internet early last week - will be released on September 29.

In the report, however, no word on the release date of the Nexus device being manufactured by Huawei.

Screen size apart, both devices are rumoured to have mostly the same specs. A recently-leaked 3D render of the LG's handset showed a fingerprint scanner, plastic back with beveled edges, fitted on a metal frame.

Obviously, none of this has been officially confirmed yet, so we’ll have to wait and see what the official story will be.
