On-demand video platform shuts down website, goes mobile-only in Africa

Visiting irokotv.com with an african ip automatically redirects you to a page where you can download the mobile app.

Popular on-demand video platform, iROKOtv has shut down its website to focus on the mobile platform. This change is available to only users in Africa.

Founder, Jason Njoku also confirmed the development via his Twitter page.

If you visit irokotv.com with an african ip, it automatically redirects you to a page where you can download the mobile app.

Interestingly, the mobile app is available on Android only. No iOS, no Windows Phone, no BlackBerry.
