Apple undecided on Finger print ID or Face ID for latest smartphone

The eventual choice to be rolled out for the iPhone X will depend ultimately on feedback from its users.

It seems the fate of the latest flagship phone now unlikely to be released November 3, 2017 is ultimately in the hands of the customers.

According to a report from usually accurate analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, via 9to5Mac, Apple hasn't really decided yet.

If the user response is positive, Apple will go on to add the Face ID technology to all future models, if otherwise, the company may roll out the fingerprint technology for all its phones.

Although analyst Kuo claims Apple is having trouble embedding the fingerprint scanner onto the screens of its iPhones due to its 3D Touch technology, which makes the display panel thicker, reducing the accuracy of a fingerprint scanner placed under the display.
