Batman Arkham Knights sells over 5 million copies

Arkham Knight sold over five million copies – same as Mortal Kombat X, a title also published by Warner Bros.

Batman

Batman Arkham Knight had great reviews upon launch, even though the PC version has had a ton of issues from the onset.

Warner Bros. had to suspend sales of the title on PC. But even that didn’t stop it from selling more than five million copies across the globe. Not bad at all for a game with PC problems, right?

Warner Bros., owners of the franchise, have not officially confirmed these figures but the Wall Street Journal reports that the publisher’s gaming division is performing really well.

According to Geeky Gadgets, Arkham Knight sold over five million copies – same as Mortal Kombat X, a title also published by Warner Bros. Both games were released earlier this year.

WB doesn’t reveal sales data a lot, so it is still unclear if the publisher will confirm these figures for Arkham Knight and Mortal Kombat X.

There is also no confirmation of if the figures represent actual sales or shipped copies. WB is definitely smiling to the bank.

The company has still not resumed sales of Batman Arkham Knight for PC but it has been working on making it better over the past couple of months and is expected to start selling the title again by the end of the month.
