Apple Slashes 2 Hundred Million Dollars Off Purchase Price Of 'Beat By Dre'

It seems Apple didn't take too kindly the video showing Dr Dre's untimely celebration of his 3.3 billion dollar deal with them.

A few weeks ago Dr Dre was set to be the first billionaire in hip hop when he reportedly sealed the deal with electronic company, Apple for his famous Beats by Dre company for a lump sum of 3.2 billion dollars. This prompted him to post a video on youtube showing him celebrate his prospective earnings from the sales brag about becoming the first hip-hop Billionaire ever.

It looks as if the untimely celebration by American rapper and producer Dr Dre has cost him a sizeable amount of money. It has been reported that Apple was not too pleased with a video posted on Youtube by Tyrese showing Dr. Dre bragging about being the first billionaire in hip hop.

Apple has apparently decided to offer 3 billion dollars for the headphone company instead of the initial 3.2 billion dollars.

The whole video seemed to be masterminded by singer and actor Tyrese, and considering how much this has cost Dre, I doubt they will be seen celebrating anytime soon or the near future for that matter.

Further analyses also has it that it would have indeed been hard for Dr Dre to be gross up to a billion dollars on the initial 3.2 billion dollar deal because, he only owned 25% of the company's stake, making his total earnings from their earlier arrangement worth only 800 million dollars. With this new slash in the price of the Headphone company and his resulting 750 million dollar take-home, tough luck for Dr Dre's Billionaire ambitions after he pays off the IRS. (nypost.com)

It is indeed a bubble burster for Dr Dre to have his profit margin slashed down over a simple thing as a video, do you think  he deserves it?
