Smartphone lights affect your mind and body, here's how

Smartphone screens emit blue light so you can see then better even under the sunniest time of the day.

It’s not one of the easiest things to do, but looking at your phone at night for long periods is a very bad idea.

This reaction causes your brain to stop producing melatonin, a hormone that gives your body the “time to sleep” signals.

As such, smartphone light can disrupt your sleep cycle, making it harder to fall and stay asleep, thereby causing potential health problems further along the line.
