It’s not one of the easiest things to do, but looking at your phone at night for long periods is a very bad idea.

According to new report byTech Insider, smartphone screens emit blue light so you can see then better even under the sunniest time of the day.

However, at night you gets confused by that light, as it mimics the brightness of the sun.

This reaction causes your brain to stop producing melatonin, a hormone that gives your body the “time to sleep” signals.

As such, smartphone light can disrupt your sleep cycle, making it harder to fall and stay asleep, thereby causing potential health problems further along the line.
