Motorists are not complying with the rule of fastening their seat belts while driving,’’ Okerie said.

30 of these offenders were convicted by a Mobile Court in March.

Speaking on the seat belt violations, he said the FRSC unit was working hard to enforce this traffic rule.

"We are carrying out effective enforcement to make road users comply with traffic rules and regulations,’’ he said.
