A brand represents the company as a whole and there is no doubt that brand value plays a huge role in any company’s success.

Here is a list of the top 10 brands that have succeeded in their quest to claim the status of the most valuable brands of 2015.

10. Louis Vuitton: With a brand value of $29.9 billion, Louis Vuitton has also been named the most valuable luxury brand with an extensive range of products, accessories and clothing that have become the desire of populations worldwide.

9. Toyota: With a brand value of $31.3 billion, Toyota is a reliable global car brand that has produced more than 200 million vehicles.

8. Samsung: Samsung brand, valued at $35 billion, is the world’s largest smartphone manufacturer by shipments.

7. General Electric: The GE brand is currently valued at a whopping $37.1 billion and has decided to make the move away from being a customer company and has chosen rather to hone in on business-to-business relationships.

6. McDonald’s: Despite it’s $39.9 billion brand value, this fast food outlet has been forced to rethink their target market as they begin to struggle with the worldwide change in eating habits as well as increased competition.

5. IBM: Sitting at a comfortable $47.9 billion, IBM’s brand value has seemingly dropped by 5% since transforming itself from a hardware company to one that is cloud-centric.

4. Coca-Cola: Coca Cola’s brand value of  $56.1 pulls miles ahead of its competition, Pepsi, and still remains the world’s most popular soft drink.

3. Google: Google, the world’s most popular search engine, has a brand value of $56.6 billion.

2. Microsoft: The popular Microsoft brand value increased by 11 percent during the 2014 and is now valued at $63 billion despite its struggle to transit into the mobile world.

1. Apple Inc.: Apple, the American multinational technology, is worth twice as much as any other brand in the world. Even though the Apple brand is known to be on the slightly more expensive side of trendy products, the brand carries tremendous weight and credibility, and customers are willing to pay for that.
