'Galaxy Mall will improve the shopping experience for residents', Kaduna governor says

Work has begun on the Galaxy Mall and Galleria project in Kaduna state.

On Wednesday (January 13th), Pulse reported that Kaduna state government, in a partnership with UPDC Plc, is building 2000 affordable houses and a mall.

At the ground-breaking ceremony of these projects, the Governor, Mallam Nasiru El Rufai, gave a speech on the goal of the Galaxy Mall.

He revealed the proposed tenants, adding that this construction would create jobs for Kaduna residents.

“Shoprite and Silverbird are proposed to be the proposed anchor tenants of the property.

The mall will raise the game in retail, provide cinemas for the people and promote linkages with farmers and suppliers."

The ground-breaking ceremony was attended by the Vice President of Nigeria, Yemi Osinbajo, who laid the foundation, and Hakeem Ogunniran, the Managing Director of UPDC Plc.
