FRSC deploys over 700 officers to Kano

The Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) has deployed 700 officials to Kano for the Eid el-Kabir celebrations.

This was announced by the FRSC Relations Officer of the state, Mr Kabiru Daura.

In an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), he gave details of the deployment.

According to him, motorists need to help the newly deployed men by obeying all traffic rules, as cases of overloading, use of cell phones while driving, under-age drivers and driving against traffic will not be overlooked.

He also said that the officers, along with 14 patrol vehicles, one tow truck and two ambulances, will be around different praying grounds and other strategic places.

These 300 regular and 400 special marshals will ensure free flow of traffic during the celebrations.
