Lagos governor's convoy arrests traffic offenders

Some drivers caught driving on one-way have been arrested.

The traffic offender, Adeola Alabi, was caught driving against traffic and got arrested by the governor.

"Alabi had taken  the left side of the road with intention to dodge the dilapidated portion of the dual carriage way, which infuriated the governor who was on that rough portion of the road.immediately ordered that the vehicle should be taken to the office of the Ekiti State Traffic Management Agency in Ado Ekiti, with directive that all necessary fines must be paid."

Today, it's the governor of Lagos state that ridding the streets of traffic offenders.

Just like Alabi, these offenders were caught driving against traffic.

The governor's convoy arrested both commercial and private drivers for driving one-way along Apapa-Oshodi Expressway.

Less than two weeks ago, over ten military vehicles were arrested for driving illegally on the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) corridor.

"For today, the most erring people on BRT lane are the military officers. Over 10 vehicles of the military were found on the BRT corridor and we are going to write the army authorities.’’
