2 Simple ways to revive your love for your spouse

If you no longer feel any love feelings toward your spouse, you don’t have to just sit back and watch those feelings dwindle.

Couple in love

‘I do not love him/her anymore, like I used to do” These words have been echoed over and over again from the lips of married couples who professed love to each other many years ago.

What is the reason for this Ugly trend?

If you no longer feel any love feelings toward your spouse, you don’t have to just sit back and watch those feelings dwindle.

If you don’t do anything about it, I assure you, the feelings will likely continue to dissipate.

Here is what you should do:

Change your negative thoughts: Negative feelings grow negative thoughts, which in turn, creates negative feelings and this can make you feel miserable, like you have lost that loving feeling.

If you keep seeing your spouse with this negative mindset, you will never be pleased with any good thing he/she does.

Solution: The good thing about it is that we can control our mind to think whatever we want. So here is what you should do. If you always think of your spouse and say: “He no longer cares,” remind yourself of the nice things he does for you also. Quickly substitute the negative thought with something nice and sweet. “Sometimes he hurts my feelings but sometimes he does nice things for me too.”

Change Your Attitude:The mistake couples make, is that they start to exhibit an unloving attitude to each other, when they have a dispute with each other.

They start spending less time together, argue more, they even stop talking or going out with each other. All of these things will create less loving feelings which will likely decrease their desire to behave lovingly.

Solution: Express love to each other, even when you don’t feel like it. It is difficult though, but it is worth the try. Love your partner with your actions and the feelings will come later. Do something nice for your spouse.

Practice patience and kindness. Offer your time to your spouse. All of these sorts of things can help increase the love you feel.
