How much are you spending this Val for your partner.

It’s Valentine’s Day people!

It’s that time of the year when the atmosphere gets filled with love and lovers express their love and affection for each other.

This is the time you’ve probably been expecting to spray the money on your partner and splash him/her with gifts. However, whatever you do to celebrate your partner this season all depends on how much you’re willing to spend.

We asked 10 people about their budget for Valentine’s Day and we found out how much these people are ready to spend to give their partner a treat on February 14.

Read their responses below, you might get some ideas from them.

Oddy: ''N15k is the perfect amount of money to take a partner out to a not so expensive restaurant and have an amazing evening...If you do your calculations right, there are places you can actually have an amazing time together with that budget and nobody will have to 'trek' back home''.

Ehiz: ''For a proper treat, I can do a budget of N20k, basically for a special dinner date at an exquisite spot''.

Seun: ''I can budget around N10,000 to take her out to relaxation center. Can't budget much because Valentine is like a normal day to me''.

Racheal: ''N10-15k to get a small gift because that is what I can afford for now and moreover we still have enough time to celebrate ourselves''.

Aisha: ''I think N30k because he spends more on me. I can get him a wristwatch because he's been talking about wrist watch lately and a very nice journal because he likes to write''.

Tope: ''Valentine is my birthday and we would celebrate together with any amount with me and the budget cap shouldn't exceed N20k''.

Peter: ''I’ll budget N20,000 to treat my partner and why I am budgeting the amount is because it's all I can afford at this point in time''.

Innocent: ''A million Naira. Simply because I want to spoil her''. (Don't be surprised, Innocent is a medical doctor)

Michael: ''Given all things are as planned, I would budget between N15k to N20k to give my partner a treat for Val. The budget analysis will include: seeing a movie at the cinema; buying her a val gift; go for special dinner at a cool spot in town and load her phone with airtime''.

Emmanuel: ''50k and more. I’ll like to get her bouquet of flowers; surprise three course meal and spa treat and more if affordable''.

Damola: ''It depends on what level the relationship is. Right now... If we are dating and we are exclusive, 50k -70k for a weekend getaway''.
