Today, I am back with my weekly food review in Lekki, discovering exciting places to eat in Lekki.

Today’s story is a bit short but let’s start already, As a Naija babe there is this thing about hotels that just turns you off completely if it is not for vacation (Say No). So, this weekend while looking for new places to try out I came across a fairly new hotel with a massive structure in Lekki, and I was like “let me even see what is inside” because it really looked good from the outside. I step inside and am like “ok, this could not have been here since”, I moved on trust me to try out the food and check out the restaurant. I rarely eat at hotel restaurants but since Eko hotel and Four Points have paved the way I thought to try this one out. Yesterday, I decided to try them out for Sunday brunch.

They offer Sunday brunch buffet for a reasonable price of N5,500 but I think buffets are over rated sometimes so I chose to stay away. They had a good variety but mostly Nigerian food and a few continental dishes, it looked good and the selection of dessert looked really colorful. I chose the terrace to eat instead of their restaurant because the view there was so nice and relaxing.

Back to the food – Flipping through the menu was quite interesting, i found out they had 5 country dishes on the continental menu page – Morrocan, America, Thai, Chinese and Indian (5 countries in 1) this is very different. So We ordered Chicken madria curry and Lamb chops in red wine with cranberry sauce.

Seating at the terrace waiting for the food took a long time which was not encouraging for my hungry self. Remember, I said brunch so it took more than 1 hour to get the food out and I wasn’t too impressed with the presentation.

The chicken madra curry looked nice, the chicken tasted good but in my opinion that was no curry because I barely had any curry to eat with my rice. So that was an epic fail for me because of the amount I spent on the meat. On the other hand it is safe to recommend the American dishes because the red wine lamb chops with potatoes was amazing (Yummy potatoes and the lamb as well).The hotel food discovery really gave me more insights to what you can discover in Lekki because of all the plenty corners. The view was really nice, I will definitely go back to chill there and probably eat something that isn’t curry
