The ceremony was well attended with dignitaries like Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, billionaire, Aliko Dangote, Edo State governor, Adams Oshiomole who presented the king with the staff of office and Edo State governor-elect, Godwin Obaseki.

Traditional rulers such as the Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido, the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi and the Emir of Zazzau, Alhaji Sheu Idris were also present at the historic event.
The stylish monarch recently launched a brand new Rolls Royce Phantom. The luxury vehicle was launched at the thanksgiving ceremony which held at Holy Arousa Cathedral, Akpakpava street, Benin City.
The king, accompanied by palace chiefs was received warmly by excited residents of Benin. A cow was slaughtered at the entrance of the church which is believed to date as far back as the 15th Century.
The car is worth a staggering 460,000 Dollars, which is about 200 Million Naira. The Oba also moved into a massive mansion which will serve as his official residence.
The number plates of the vehicle have his name and emblem drawn on them in gold.
