Artist carves sculpture out of a pencil
A brilliant sculptor has made a masterpiece sahara inspired sculpture out of something as ordinary as a pencil.

Cindy, who is from Nebraska, has sculpted shoes, trains and flowers out of pencil lead.
This sahara inspired masterpiece, which took a total of 15 hours to complete is on sale for a whopping £635.35.
Some of her designs don't look like much on the surface, until the viewer looks at them through the scope and then see in great detail how amazing it is.

Although Cindy is of the opinion that if a view can't decipher the basic shape of the sculpture with their naked eye, then it has very little meaning and gets even less appreciation.
Each different type of pencil has its own challenge, as some are brittle while others are soft. She says she often uses a carpenter pencil.
Coloured pencils are difficult to work with because they are brittle and difficult to create fine details with.
