The countdown to InspiredbyGlory’s third Redefining Event has began.

The countdown to InspiredbyGlory’s third Redefining Event has began, and it’s all happened in under a year! it started in November 2014 with Redefining Beauty, then in April of this year financial literacy gap with #RedefiningFinance was plugged in and now they are pursuing passion and purpose in #RedefiningCareer!

The Redefining Event mantra is all about expanding the narrative. Providing a platform where you learn, share and then go forth and conquer. It’s about empowering women for self actualisation and personal success and the Redefining Career event will be no different

The Redefining Career event aims to challenge the barriers and myths to choosing careers which are focused on passion, purpose or interest. It will also empower women with the tools for taking ownership of their career development and the steps for making the transition into fulfilling careers.

By showcasing women who are working in the areas of their passion, the event will aim to answer the following questions...how do I build a career around my passion? How do I make the transition into a career I love? How can I build a successful career? How can I take ownership of my career and its development? How do I monetize my passion? How can I improve myself in my current career?  And many more...

Are you looking to develop your career or are you seeking to transition into area you are passionate about, but don’t know how? Then this is the event for you.

As always our guest line up includes women who are not just talking the talk but living it. Women who are known in their chosen fields and are willing to share with us their life’s lessons.

The Redefining Career event will begin with a Master Class with the renowned media expert that is Biola Alabi, former Managing Director of M-Net Africa and a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader who was also recently named as one of the 20 Youngest Power Women in Africa by Forbes Africa.

A panel discussion session facilitated by Wana Udobang of Inspiration FM featuring CSR Executive Chioma Okolie, Award Winning Poet, Writer and Actress, Titilope Sonuga and Founder of Olori Cosmetics and FMCG Senior Executive, Toyin Odulate will provide practical insights into the steps, myths, challenges and knowledge requirements for building  a career you are passionate about.

To top it all off, Esther Eshiet founder of the After School Centre for Career Development will facilitate a workshop on the difference between a job and a career.
