The monthly concert of unplugged core African music and social activism, Afropolitan Vibes held the first edition for the year 2016.

It was special in every ramification. From the music to the Palmwine, the crowd spirit to the sounds, everything was special.

Organised by the eclectic band, Bantu, at the symbolic Freedom Park, the event was ushered with traditional freshly tapped Palmwine, lubricating the happiness centres of guests.

Ade Bantu kicked off the night with his timeless melodies wafting through the evening and exciting guests. He was backed

After which X3M Music songstress Simi stepped in entertaining guest with her hit singles including Jamb Question and Tiff.

Next was The Show Dem Camp duo hitting the stage alongside Boj and Poe. They all combined to give the crowd a one of a kind experience with their performance.

This created the perfect atmosphere for the another headliner, SirShina Peters to work his magic on the night.

The veteran Afro juju singer, stormed the stage with a strong force performing his hit songs from way back. The crowd could not hold back as they danced and sang along to this songs.

The night ended with rapturous appreciation for a night of vocal magic, and Afrobeat infusions, and the best of live music.
