Children need their fruits and vegetables in order to grow up properly, but they would rather eat junk, and getting them to eat healthy is a big struggle, however, there is now a solution to this major problem.

According to a new study from Cornell University, the simple trick to getting children to eat fruits and vegetables is to get them to grow their own produce.

This study found that children are more likely to eat salads and vegetables when they grow their own produce themselves.

For the study, researchers measured the food selections of 370 students over a three-day period in which the researchers switched the style of vegetable they included with the meals from school-grown to student-grown.

The result was that the percentage of students who ate salad for lunch went from 2 to 10 percent when the salad included veggies that the child grew themselves.

It was also discovered that young children were also four times more likely to get a salad for lunch when the vegetables came directly from a garden.

So, parents encourage your children to eat healthy by helping them grow their fruits and vegetables.
