Klay Thompson was in unstoppable flow as the Golden State Warriors continued their impressive start to the season away at the Chicago Bulls.

The 28-year-old contributed 52 points to lead the warriors in scoring and break and NBA record held previously by his teammate Steph Curry.

Klay Thompson's 52 points and 14 from the three point arc was not the only record shattered by the Warriors.

They also set a franchise record of 92 points in the first two quarters and they ended the half 92-50 leading their hosts.

Top performers for the reigning NBA Champions are Klay with 52 points, Steph with 28 points and Alfonzo McKinnie  with 19 points.

Timberwolves beat Lakers

Lebron James could not save the LA Lakers as they fell to another defeat away from home to the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The Lakers aim to bounce back from defeat to the DeMar DeRozan led San Antonio Spurs but fell to a 124-120 defeat by the Timberwolves.

Top performers were star player Jimmy Butler who recorded 32 points, Karl Anthony Towns with 25 points and Josh Okogie with 17 points.

NBA results

The San Antonio Spurs continued their winning streak with a 113-108 win over the Dallas Mavericks.

Star player DeRozan  contributed 34 points, other top performers are LaMarcus Aldridge 20 points, Rudy Gay 15 points and rookie Luka Doncic with 31 points.
