Two young men employed as security guards for MFE Gas Station, located along Iju Road, Ifako-Agege, Lagos, unleashed terror when they mobilised their gang members from Okene, Kogi State, to rob the gas station they were employed to protect, Vanguard reports.
The suspects, Aliu Bello and Rafiu Rasaq, allegedly led three others to attack the station just one month after they were employed.
It was learned that the gang, which stormed the filling station at 8:30p.m., killed one Daramola Yemisi, a car dealer, who was still in the premises at the time.
It was also gathered that on the day of the incident, the gas station had made huge sales as it was the only station that sold fuel in the area.
After sharing the loot, Aliu and Rafiu travelled to Ibadan, while the other three went back to Okene.
State Criminal Investigations and Intelligence Department, SCIID, began to investigate the case, arrested Aliu and Rafiu, while efforts are on to apprehend the others.
