The incident reportedly happened at Badagry Road in the Apapa area of the state where both the suspect and the victim’s parents reside.

The police prosecutor told the court presided by Magistrate [Mrs.] Davis Abegunde, that Bruno had allegedly lured the victim to his apartment when her parents were not around and had sexual intercourse with her without her consent.

The teenage victim had allegedly kept the secret until she summoned the courage and told her parents who had suspected her movements into Bruno's apartment.

When the suspect was confronted over the assault, he admitted but told the parents of the girl that their daughter had been indulging in sex before then as her private was already open which made it easy for him to penetrate her.
