The streets of Dhaka, Bangladesh flow with blood following Eid celebrations

The traditional slaughtering of animals which usually marks the celebrations was held at designated points in the city with the blessings of the police, of course.

The public slaughtering saw blood run through the streets made worse by the heavy downpour which followed.

The photos, though exciting in a strange way will soon become a cause for concern after the blood coagulates and brings the stench that follows.

All the same, the residents of the city seemed unconcerned as the waddled or drove through the streets soaked in blood.
