Boko Haram Bomb Football Viewing Center In Yobe

The deadly Islamist sect, Boko Haram, has struck again as they bombed a football viewing center in Damaturu, Yobe State, killing more than 20 people.

The dreaded Boko Haram insurgents have claimed the devastating bomb blast that rocked a football viewing center in Damaturu, the capital of Yobe State, North-East Nigeria, during the Brazil vs Mexico match at the on-going 2014 FIFA World Cup.

The attack which occurred at about 8.15 pm, reportedly left many people dead and scores of others wounded.

Though a specific number of the death was not given, eye witnesses say more than 20 bodies were found while around 30 were injured and rushed to the hospital.

This is not the first time the terrorists would be bombing football viewing centers as on the 24th of May, 2014, they struck at a viewing center in Jos, Plateau State, where about three people, including the bomber himself, died.
