Corps member jumps out of speeding luxury bus

After allegedly developing a strange illness in Ebonyi state, a corps member has reportedly jumped out of a speeding luxury bus en route Jos from Aba.

The incident reportedly took place on Saturday, September 10, around Fadan Karshi, along the Jos-Abuja Road.

The corps member identified simply as Pam is reported to have developed a strange illness at the village in Ebonyi state, where he was undergoing his compulsory one year service.

Pam was being escorted back home by another corps member to his home following the development of the strange illness, which worsened during the period of one week, so much so that the authorities asked that he be sent back home to undergo proper treatment.

At a point during the journey, Pam had become unruly and uncontrollable just before he broke from his escort and jumped out one of the windows of the vehicle. An eyewitness identifies as George, disclosed to correspondents that both corp members had boarded the bus at 9th Mile along the Markudi-Enugu Road on Friday, September, 9.

“At a point during the journey, Pam started disturbing everybody. He became loud, unruly and uncontrollable.

“As we approached the area after Fadan Karshi, Pam suddenly jumped out of the window. The driver stopped and we all rushed to see if he was alive. He was lucky to have sustained fractures on his legs and arms; but it was very serious,” He said.

Fortunately, Pam survived the jump, escaping with broken limbs with which he was handed over to his relatives upon the arrival of the bus in Jos.
