A middled aged man in Kenya, Willy Chepkwony, has been arrested for allegedly killing a 51-year-old prostitute, Linah Cherotich, after she duped him of the sum of KSh 20,000, (about $196), reports Tuko.co.ke.

It was gathered that the two had lodged in a hotel in Nakuru for the night only for Chepkwony to murder her in the night.

Her lifeless body was found the following morning and investigations launched to establish what could have caused her death.

It was the CCTV footage installed in the hotel revealed that Chepkwony first walked into the hotel alone, made a booking with his identification card as well as mobile phone number. He later went out and came back with Cherotich and that was the last time she was seen alive. He was later traced and arrested

Nakuru CID boss James Lelia, said the police had reason to believe Cherotich had earlier conned KSh 20,000 from Chepkwony.
