Police on a hunt for pastor who murdered brother

The Imo State Commissioner of Police, Taiwo Lakanu has stated that his men are on trail of the murder suspects.

A pastor named Samuel Ahanonu and three other men have been declared wanted by the police for the alleged murder of his brother, Kennedy Amaechi Ahanonu.

Samuel and the trio of Okey Ozuzu, Chijioke Daggarman Ahanonu and Raymond Egbunine were said to have been involved in the death of the pastor's brother.

This was disclosed by the Imo State Commissioner of Police, Taiwo Lakanu while speaking to newsmen in Owerri.

According to him, the police responded to a distress call at the residence of the deceased where one Daniel Igwekama was arrested.

According to reports, the killing of the deceased was due to a land dispute.

The state commissioner, while assuring the populace of the dedication of the police in combating crime said his men are on the trail of the fleeing suspects.
