Man with HIV rapes 6-yr-old girl

Celestina Kalu, the Police Public Relations Officer mentioned that the authorities will ensure that the suspect is made to face the consequences of his action.

Monday Imande, an HIV positive man, was arrested on Thursday, August 11, 2016, for allegedly raping a 6-yr-old girl.

The girl, Osiagboro Blessing, was on an errand when Imande accosted her and forcefully had sexual intercourse with her, Daily Post reports.

This information was revealed by the victim's grandfather as Blessing has not been able to articulate her experience due to the trauma.

Also confirming the event, Celestina Kalu, the Police Public Relations Officer mentioned that the authorities will ensure that the suspect is made to face the consequences of his action.

Kalu also advised parents and guardians to keep a peeled eye whenever their children and wards stay longer than expected when sent on errands.

A similar incident might just be about to occur.
