Prof Osinbajo pays musician a courtesy visit

Vice Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Professor Yemi Osinbajo on Monday, February 23 paid a surprise visit to veteran musician, Femi Kuti at his Alagbole residence.

Femi Kuti revealed this on Twitter while also posting photos of him the vice presidential candidate. “Kind of got a surprised courtesy visit 4rm Prof Yemi Osinbajo 2day at my home (interesting),” the Afrobeat singer said.

“Courtesy visit from @ProfOsinbajo today at my home long discussion abt future our country etc ( mutual respect ),” he added.

The visit by Osinbajo is to gain the support of the Fela Anikulapo Kuti family who still holds a grudge against General Muhammadu Buhari who Osinbajo is running with.

Femi Kuti has been quiet on the issue unlike his brother Seun Kuti who has lambasted the ex general on several occasions.

In a September 2014 Instagram post, Seun Kuti slated Buhari for imprisoning his father for almost two years.

Just a few weeks ago, undefinedwho had backed out of presidential debates with his rivals.

“Abeg since president Jonathan debated with dbanj in 2011 , I jealous make I no lie. Buhari please debate with me now since u have declined with Jonathan. I promise to ask u tougher questions than dbanj and u won't need to stroke my ego by calling me the future of Africa. Loooool. I go die here oooo,” Seun Kuti writes on Facebook.
