D’Banj Dusts P-Square, 2Face In Kenya

Musical twin of Peter and Paul Okoye, 2Face Idibia, Wizkid, Davido and a few others may be the hottest music acts in Nigeria at the moment but according to rating in far-away Kenya and some other countries in Eastern and Southern Africa, ‘No Long Thing’ crooner, D’Banj surely outshines them all. This information was made know to pulse.ng by one of Kenya’s top media mogul, Kenny Kinako, the ‘Koko Master’ has killed it in his country. Kenny who was in Nigeria for a few days, said that Kenyans feel D’Banj more than any other Nigerian musician as he is an international star. “D’Banj is the biggest Nigerian musician in Kenya and he is known by any music lover because of his international appeal, stage performance and charisma. We know P-Square, 2Face and a few others but D’Banj is out major star.” Asked about Davido and Wizkid, Kenny was aghast. “Who is Davido and Wizkid? We have not heard of them. Few weeks back, I heard that the Davido was in Kenya for a concert but I can tell you it must have been a club concert as no one seemed to have heard of such concert. For us, D’Banj is the only Nigerian musician that we Kenyans recognize and for us, he is the biggest African star.”
