Man Bites Off Girlfriend’s Lip In Lagos

The suspect got angry at his lover after he went to visit her and saw another man in her home.

A man in Lagos has been arrested and taken to court after he was accused of assaulting his former lover.

37-year-old Okechukwu Onyemachi is said to have chopped off the upper lip of one Nneka Obi after he saw another man in her house.

Onyemachi, a carpenter, also attempted to commit suicide after causing the injury to Obi in a bid to escape prosecution.

He has been charged with assault and arraigned before a Magistrate Court in the Ebute Metta area of the state.
