Board to decide admission cut-off marks at July 14 meeting

Cut-off marks for admission of candidates into tertiary institutions for the 2015 academic session will be determined on July 14, says the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

Cut-off marks for admission of candidates into tertiary institutions for the 2015 academic session will be determined on July 14, says the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

JAMB's spokesperson, Benjamin Fabian, told journalists on Thursday that the Board will hold its 2015 Policy meeting on July 14, where it will determine the cut-off marks.

Fabian said the marks will be fixed after extensive deliberations with Vice-Chancellors of Universities, Provost of Colleges of Education and Rectors of Polytechnics, Monotechnics, Innovative Enterprise Institutions and other stakeholders in the Nigerian University System.

He also revealed that the Board had concluded arrangement to commence the process of the 2015 admissions.

The Spokeperson hailed the success of the 2015 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), administered fully in the Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.
