A desperate search has been launched a Euan Coulthard, 19-year-old student at St Mary's College, Durham, North-East England, who has been missing since early Thursday.
Desperate search ongoing for missing 19-year-old student
UK police and Durham University students have begun a desperate search for a 19-year-old who has been missing since Thursday after a nightclub outing.
Euan was last seen leaving a night club, the Love shack, where he had gone to celebrate a friend's 21st birthday.
His phone has been off and he has not replied social media messages since he went missing.
A concerned friend first reported Euan missing after failing to make contact.
The teenager is described as 5ft 9in, of average build with light brown hair, which is cut short on the sides.
He was reportedly wearing black skinny jeans, a denim jacket and a beige patterned shirt when he was last seen.
Police said there is concern about the Euan's safety.
"We have serious concerns for Euan's welfare as there has been no trace of him since the early hours of this morning."
"He hasn't responded to any attempts to contact him and his phone has not been traced,” Inspector Dave Coxon said on Thursday.
About 100 Durham students are reportedly assisting the police in the search.
"#findeuan search restarts this morning. An incredible turnout to find an incredible guy," Tabitha Roberts posted on Facebook.
Some friends of Euan have also set up a Facebook page, , asking for help from members of the public.
"Help find Euan Coulthard, 19, studying law at St Mary’s College, has not been seen since the early hours of Thursday morning," a message on the page read.
