Pastor Buru, who presented the food items at Alaramma Abdulrahman Bichi’s residence on Sunday, May 5, 2016, said his intention was for both Christians and Muslims to see one another as one.
Buru said for some years, his ministry has been visiting prisons, securing bail for some inmates of Islamic faith.
“The intention is for these Muslim brothers and sisters to do their fasting at home with friends, family and relations. We usually join Muslims scholars in the breaking of the fast every evening and also attend their Tafsir to learn together,” Pastor Buru said.
He called on Muslims to pray for Nigeria and pray for the President for rapid development in all sectors.
“During our holy month of Easter, many Muslims clerics always wish us success for our 40 days fasting. So, we are also here to wish them same as brothers. We are from one family of Adam and Eve, worshiping one God. We all believe in paradise and hell as well as believe on the day of resurrection,” he said.
In his remarks, Alaramma Abdulrahman Bichi, thanked the Christian Cleric for the foodstuff donation, adding that his group will reciprocate the kind gesture during Easter.
