Many believe that Tinubu is losing control of APC due to his candidate's loss in the Ondo primaries.

Yakassai made the claim while speaking in Kano state on Monday, September 26, Tribune reports.

He also referenced an earlier claim made by Senate President, Bukola Saraki that a cabal had emerged within Buhari’s government.

“People are inclined to believe what the Senate president has said. From all indications, every right thinking person will figure out a sinister plot to completely scheme out Tinubu from the hierarchy of APC and I want to believe this is coming from the Presidency,” Yakassai said.

Many have speculated that Tinubu is losing control of the APC due to the loss of his supposed candidate at the Ondo governorship primaries.

The APC leader has called for the resignation of chairman, John Oyegun whom he accused of cheating during the primaries.

Meanwhile, former aviation minister, Femi Fani-Kayode has alleged that some of the politicians raised by Tinubu had turned their backs on him.
